I used it to remove thousands of flatworms from some new liverock in a quarantine tank and it worked great without harming some coral in the same tank.

I've used it with success and no ill effect to non targetted organisms. Follow the directions carefully and pay very close attention to removing as many flatworms as you can manually and following the treatment with extra activated carbon use. The flat worm exit won't hurt your reef creatures other than flat worms but the dying flatworms and you will be surprised at how many there are spew deadly toxins when the die.It may take two treatments to eliminate them all with the second at 150% dose. A power head blown into the rock also helps. I use an extra hang on filter with carbon to extract the dead and dying.
