ok guys, so i have had my finnex skimmer running in my 30 gallon for the past 2 months and there still is no junk in the collection cup. this is my first time using a skimmer so i'm new, but it said it may take 3 weeks to break in, so i'm pretty sure it should be broken in by now. i haven't seen any bubbling in the cylinder either, its basically moving water to my return pump instead of cleaning it before it does. any ideas?

The stock skimmer is junk IMO... Get a Tunze 9002 if you dont wish to break the bank. The Deltec MCE600 would be a perfect skimmer though ;)

I am probably ordering a Finnex tank within the next month. I have already decided to upgrade the skimmer to the Tunze 9002. It's well worth the extra money, and they're not really that expensive. Which system do you have and do you like it?
