I have a 6ft AGA 180 gallon tank. I didnt' want the overflows due to look/space. I am planning to do three holes for durso's. Are 1 inch bulkheads ok?
Also, what should I do with the returns. I will have two, one from the sump and one from a refugium. I don't think I can drill lower than the durso's because if a power failure happened, it would keep draining into sump correct?

well for the returns, just put check valves on it so it won't drain back into sump. I have a 180g and I'm doing 2x 1" drains. They'll handle at least 1200gph together.

That is pretty smart, like a sump pump! Thanks for your help!
