I use the baked baking soda for dosing my 2 part. I try to drip it into the tank, but is forms some sort of precipitate immediately upon hitting the water.
Could there be a problem, or is this normal...any thoughts?

Is the precip a cloud or tiny particles?

tiny particles, but they do dissipate in high flow.
If I pour into my sump, it seems there is an accumulation of white particles on the bottom of the sump.

How high do you keep your calcium?

If it redissolves it is magnesium hydroxide and is normal. I discuss it and show a picture here:

Thanks Randy....the particles do dissolve.
I was used to seeing the "cloud" when I dosed like you show in those articles, but recently I had been noticing larger particles in the cloud and I was just a little concerned.
