DC-8 Relays

Is is *certain* that ports #4 and #8 on the DC-8 are relays, rather than triacs? My Aqualifter on port #4 runs when "off" so I'm feeling a bit suspicious. Oh yeah, my serial number is DC86633.

In the DC8 manual that I have, it states that "relay outlets are only available in DC8 with serial numbers greater than 9000."

It also indicates that the relays would be on outlets #4 & #8.

Yes, but mine is behaving as is it *doesn't* have a relay on port #4.

That DC8 doesn't have relays on outlets 4 & 8; it's serial # is 6633 .
