Hi,
I have had a Gigas for about 2 years now and it has grown a lot. I also have 2 Croceas and a Maxima. The Gigas is the only one experiencing problems. A couple of days ago I noticed what look to be air bubbles IN the mantle. The pics show the bubbles. The clam has not been moved in months. Flow was changed slightly a couple of weeks ago, other than that I can't think of anything that has changed. My filtration consists of a skimmer, LR, PO4 reactor, NO3 reactor, C reactor. All params stable: PO4 .03, Ca 420, dKh 9, NO3 7ppm, NO2 0, NH3 0. The clam is on the bottom or 30" below a 250W DE 10K MH. Bulbs are only a couple of months old. I also have a DO monitor that showed the O2 content of the water at 7.2ppm. This is at 35ppt and 81 degrees F. No guarantees on how accurate the monitor is but I think that should be saturation. I think I have included all the info I can. Does anybody know what these bubbles are? Are they something I need to worry about?

Here are the pics:

Any help appreciated.
