Typhoon III update

I guess we can type "airwaterice" now; which is where I purchased the typhoon III. Been using it for about 2 1/2 years. I normally don't test RO/DI output EVERYtime, but decided to this day. 1 TDS ppm registering on the RO/DI, time to investigate. RO only output also giving 1 TDS, appears the DI is exhausted. Replace DI and retest - RO/DI 0 TDS ppm. RO - 1 TDS; perfect. Also noted that the input was 195 TDS (typically has been ~120 in the past). I've always gotten ~1 TDS RO only output and it's still giving it after 2 1/2 years. I may have gotten a freak membrane, but getting better than 99% after all this time is great! :D

Sounds great. No complaints here either. My T3 has treated me well over the past couple of years as well.

Just wanted to dig this one up.

My Typhoon III purchased in 2006 is still working flawlessly. Using the original DOW FilmTec membrane it came with and it is rejecting almost 99% (TDS input = ~140, RO output = 0 to 1). DI of course is bringing it down to 0.
