Just got a frag of the Apple Berry from a buddy, and he was not sure if it is the ATL Apple Berry (which is the palawanensis) or if it is a Montipora Verrucosa.
Here is a picture I took of it

I'd say it's a Montipora Palawanensis. Awesome pic, btw!

Thanks for the compliment! I have been looking at the two different types of Monti's and I still can't tell the difference...is there a trick, or an easy way to do so?

I would say it is M. verrucisa. M. palawensis has more fused verrucae forming meandering ridges. These are autart with the polyps placed between. Absolutely magical colour!
