PowerHead Deflector question

I need to make some kind of a deflector for the bottom of a powerhead. It seems that the water flow comming out of the bottom is too much for the shrooms.

Has anyone ever had to make one ??

Is any plastic ok in the saltwater.....I just dont want to use anything that will release any chems into the water.

If I put a pcs of plastic in a bowl of saltwater & let it sit a few days.Then test the water with my test kit,. If all tests out good, It should be ok to use right ??????

You need to move the shrooms MB. You need to get the tanks flow proper then place coral around it. Never adjust flow for stock ,adjust stock to flow.
