the echino's are very new to my level and knolledge of things i don't really know what they like or where i should place them right now they are the closest to the lighting out of everything with high flow.

you should always place the corals in the lowest part of your tank first and by the week move them up to where they are most happiness.
You actually answered your own question--its all about placing them where they prefer in your particular tank--you just can't go by the books

ok i understand that but i also feel there is a general starting point for each type. thank you though.

i am still trying to find out how to feed the red echinopora or i am wrong in the type of coral. is it a echinophillia??????
