anyone using salifert test kits?

I was testing last night and noticed something. Does the syringe on the calcium only have an o ring and the alk one have an o ring and a black piece below it. I just want to make sure that I have the correct syringe? Both tell me to go to the lower part of the black piece but both of the syringes are different just want to make sure that everyones is like that?

in salifert tests you turn the syringe upside down and read to the top of the black piece when you are ready to get a reading
