We all know about the tang police, those disgruntled tang lovers who love to flame those who give their tangs a home that is less than ideal. But is there an angel police? What about any other kind of disgruntled fish lover?

Ive only ever heard of the Tang Police:mad2:

Its not tangs alone. I think the biggest reason is from impulse buys. As for me im all fish police. You must remember that most of these fish are caught in an ocean reef then shipped to you in hopes of proper conditions. There not gold fish and deserve a quality home.

you do have to remember that some people could setup a 20long or someting like that and then they go to the lfs and get told that a small sailfin will be fine, yes they should of researched but like you said, its impulse, instead of shouting and abusing why cant people just tell them what they did wrong and help them move the fish to a better home. They will never be in proper or ideal because the proper/ideal home is in the ocean where they belong. but once they're collected and sold, thats it there is nothing we can do except help the people who bought the fish due to impulse or lack of knowlege provide better conditions for fish wether its a tang, angel or a wrasse. Just my opinion.

I invite any Tang police to call Ron Solsrud at Petland in Iowa City 319-351-9451. He is the owner of the store, and my boss, and has regularly suggested to (people who have no idea how to keep aquariums in the first place) put Heptus Tangs and Yellow Tangs into Bio Cubes! I've cussed him out about it, but he never listens.

I think that you should have to pass a written test before you could buy fish and coral and fines should be given to LFS who sell fish that they know will cause later problems or sure death.... o ya goldfish suck except for the ones will the big cheeks they're cool.
