View Full Version : Awesome service... awesome skimmer

Hi guys. I am mostly a lurker here on RC but I felt compelled to tell everyone how great the service has been with Proline in helping me replace a faulty RedDragon pump on a BK 250 ext skimmer.

I originally purchased the skimmer from Finsreef and had some impeller issues from day 1. Brian of Finsreef was extremely helpful in trying to troubleshoot the problem but ultimately deferred the situation to Scott at Aquarium Specialties...Scott then helped me get in touch with Shane of Proline (thanks Scott).

No questions asked Shane swapped the pump in no time (a year after I bought the skimmer from another company (Finsreef) who bought it from another BK distributor (not Proline))! Pretty darn good. Thanks Shane for hooking a brother up. And thanks to everyone else involved.

BTW the skimmer rocks, but we already knew that!

That's a great story. Thanks for sharing. The support of Proline was one reason I ordered an SM250. I had heard that support on BK skimmers/pumps was "not the best" in years past.
