I just ordered one from pacific east aquaculture aka dr mac and sons. I will let you know how it looks when it gets in. The prices are good though

i just baught 2 squamosas from salt water fish only place i could find them i will let you know if they are nice. salt water fish has a $20 dollar shipping fee. and they have maximas clams

I have ordered about a half dozen maximas from them. I've been very happy with what I received. I've had most of them almost a year now and no mortalities.

Agredd Clams direct is good also had good things come from liveaquaria.com, Sometimes they have 3 packs of aquacultured clams for 100.00 all 2-3" in size so you would need to feed them periodically. Heres a link to their page:

Not sure if they have any purple in or not. Clams Direct just got their shipment ion and is in the process of updating their store selection so check them out periodically in the next couple of hours they go quick.

does anyone know when clams direct will be back up and running? i've checked over there a few times and the store is closed for restocking. i tried to find a number to call but when you click on the contact us button it just says stores temporarily closed. any help would be great thanks.

Not sure when they will be up and running again but i have experienced the same issue. Saltwaterfish has some nice clams on sale right now though and free shipping on orders over 79.99.

I got a beautiful blue/purple 2" ORA Maxima from Patrick at Saltwaterearth.com a couple weeks ago. It's very healthy and doing great.
