OK. I've done my research and decided that I want to buy a Bubble King Internal. The last question is which one. My tank is being built, but it will be 96Lx36Wx25H = 360 gallons. I will also have a 100 gallon fuge/sump, with probably 50 gallons in it normally. That will give me 410 gallons +/- a bit.

I figured a 300 deluxe internal would be the way to go, but the kind folks at Premium Aquatics suggested that I might be better off with a 250. They said that the BKs like to be run hard and are overrated for what they can do.

What do you guys think? Which model would you recommend?

BTW, if someone knows of a used 300 Internal, or another one which is recommended, please let me know!

Thanks in advance,

Los

i have ~450g+ TSV and purchased a 300external primarily because i run a stony tank and have a pretty heavy bioload

buying a skimmer is more about the load you will put on it than tank size... unfortunately, they cant rate skimmers at 20 fish, 30 fish, etc :)

i cant tell you how it is performing yet because i am waiting replacement part for a UPS shipping claim :(

Kip
It's on the way to Premium.
Thanks for the answer.
:D I couldn't have said it better myself":D
The 250 is rated up to 528 Gallons.
The 300 is rated up to 790 Gallons.
They should both be fine ,but again depends to Bioload factor & feeding regiment,...

Thanks, Chris and Kip. I think I'll go with the 300 Internal Deluxe.

Good choice
250 would have worked but abit at the end of the rating.
