I am converting a 75G freshwater to saltwater, and I have a bunch of dried algea/junk I want to clean off the glass before adding sand/LR. I would like to setup the tank as soon as possible after I clean it. What's the best way to clean it, without using anything harmful?

I prefer to use a diluted bleach solution.

Thanks Serpent... the bleach won't harm the life in the tank? What ratio of bleach to water do you recommend?

thanks... is a rinse necessary after cleaning with the diluted bleach? I'm guessing yes... anyone else? I've heard that cleaning with vinegar is another option.

Vinegar will work as well (use it straight for best results) When using bleach, rinse as well as you can then let air dry for a while. Anything left behind will evaporate.
