Does anyone know where I can find a flow rate vs. pump height graph for the Eheim 1260 and 1262. Similar to what Marine Depot has for the Mag Drives... Been checking (googling) all over and can't find one. The head loss calc here on Reefcentral doesn't include these two models. Either a location for a chart or if you know what they are @ 5.5' would be great. Need to order a return pump for the system I'm putting together.

Thanks again all..

Can the 1262 be used as an external pump for a Lifereef skimmer? I also plan on taking off the venturi and replacing it with a needlewheel. Any suggestions?

This may not be of much more help, but here are the Eheim pump curves for the 1260 and 1262. A couple of years ago I emailed Eheim asking for the performance data and this is what they emailed back to me ...

Let me know if you can make out what the axes are supposed to be (units). I can't read the axis labels ...

Good luck.

KJAhp098 - I know it can be used external but don't know if it would work in conjunction with a Lifereef skimmer. I'm not familiar with this skimmers flow req's, etc. Regarding the needlewheel and venturi, hopefully someone else can chime in. I'm about as "noob" as they come and only in the planning stages for my first salt/reef tank. At least a month away from my first drop of salt water going in the tank...:) All I could offer is trying searching the forums (especially DIY) with those keywords to see it you get a "hit" I know there's tons of threads on pump mods and skimmer mods here. One for just about every type skimmer/pump..:)

xchrisjb - Yea, I can't read axis values either but OneReef's has what I was looking for, appreciate the response however.

How do you adjust the flow rates for the 1260?

How do you adjust the flow rates for the 1260?

With a ball valve ;) It's a fixed flow pump, so can't change it on the pump at all.
