So here we are. I just added sand and a few pieces of LR last night. Its been about 8 hrs and the water is just starting to clear up. Even though I rinsed the sand it was still pretty cloudy.

Sump has some nasty stuff in it from the sand.

Lace Rock. Trying to get a gameplan before I add it.

Really nice setup. What do plan to put in there when its fully cycle up and running? Keep on posting.

I have not totally decided yet. Deff gonna do a mix. The only thing I am certain of is that I want to add a Naso Tang at some point. I figure it will be at least 3 weeks to cycle though.

What are the dimensions of the tank?

Jallen- Nice setup. But I would say your tank is not long enough for a Naso. They need atleast an 8 foot tank to be a little happy. They need alot of swimming room because thats all they really do.

Demensions are 4'x2'x27". Not sure on the manufacturer of the tank. It was originally purchased from Reef Systems. This is the first time anyone has said I need an 8' tank for a Naso. I have talked to a lot of people about them and done a bunch of research. That would really suck if that is true.

I hate to say it, but JCR is right. A full grown Naso with streams can be half as long as your tank. That would be like putting a german shepard in your closet for its entire life. Yes it certainly does suck! :)

A 140 gives you many options though. A purple tang would be a pretty nice addition to a 140.
