I have read about this in other threads and some suggest that the particular channel doesn't have enough pull on the relay to make it switch? Such as running a very low power pump/light(moonlight)...
and some fixes I have read about have suggested to up the power pull on that partiuclar channel? for example plugging both actinics(if you have 2 or more) into 1 channel instead of 2...
anyways...My channel 8 for my Metal halide is not shutting off at times. In the past 2 weeks it has stuck on 2 times. So I come home to a nicely lit tank at freaking 1am!!! My channel 8 is where the expansion socket is plugged into, then my halide from there...
is the problem with my main circiut on the main power strip or on the expansion socket?
Any suggestions???
Also...another question...will new reefkeeper elite power strips work with reefkeeper 2??? I head that the relays in those new strips were made to fix this known issue...?
any help would be greatly appreciated...
