I've got some red slime algae in my tank, and am trying to get rid of it. I dosed some chemiclean yesterday, but i think i underdosed the product. I see a difference in a few spots. Was being careful, and didn't want to overdo anything with such a small tank. I'm doing a major water change tomorrow, and was wondering if that would be enough. I cleaned my skimmer, and with a good cleaning, will that do it. If i keep my maint. on track, i'm hoping things will be o.k. Never had this problem before,so any tips would be helpful. Almost forgot the slime hasn't really taken over the tank, so i guess that's a plus. Thanks,Bob.

If it works it would only help and not solve the problem.
Water moevment and water source are the main reasons but stock and maintance and ect..
Can you give tank specs in detail?

I've had the red slime bad in my tank before, used the chemiclean and followed the dosage exactly, took two treatments, and the problem was gone. I increased current in the tank and haven't had much of a problem since. (2+ yrs)
