I already cycled with 300 Lbs. live sand and 100 Lbs. live rock. What fish should I start with? I plan on going rather aggressive with triggers, eels, etc...

thanks

Make a wish list, and start with the least aggressive.

Try a 4-5inch clown trigger first there are one of the most hardy fish IMO.

Good idea with the wish list, I think I'll try it. Does anyone have advice on the type of wrasse to start with? I've heard Lunares are good, but I've also heard they can be a pain. It will have to be able to hang with aggressives.

thanks

I am not familiar with a formosa wrasse, but wrasse in general, tend to be better introduced later rather than earlier..... then can be spiteful little fella's

Lunars are pretty mean fish. Not one you'd want to start out with. I'd consider a couple of Clarkie clowns, or some clowns that get 4-5 inches. They are pretty hardy and will hold their own against other fish. But you definately want to have a good long term idea of what you want in your tank. Then arrange the order then start stocking.

I'd recommend starting least agressive first on your list. Then follow with the more agressive sorts. Funny thing about a big ole Wrasse or trigger. You think the tank belongs to you, but when those tough guys move in, they decide who lives and dies. I learned this the hard way.
