I just picked this guy up today mixed in with other Fromia.
I was thinking Neoferdina offreti because of the coloration but I am probably way off the mark. Any help/info appreciated.

My best bet would be a marbled sea star. But I could be wrong. the pattern matches sort of though.

Thanks Tayler. I looking to add another fromia species to the tank. I forgot how cool these animals are, especially with SPS on the brain.

Well, due to its unknown dietary habits, I will only be keeping this one species in my aged system. WWM identified it as possibly Fromia ghardaqana (Red Sea).

Just make sure you can keep that guy fed. I heard that Fromia stars can be somewhat tricky to keep long term.

Only time will tell. I hope I have what he needs in my aged system and enough of it.
