I just came home for the weekend to find 3 small spots of coraline on the side glass!! The tank has only been set up a little over a month so I'm really stoked to have coraline so fast!

Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come! I want to take pictures but the lights are off... pics will be added tomorrow!

Guid...nice to see a fellow canuck in my home town here...that is a lot of stuff to have in a month old tank...all the best...congrats on the coraline...

i have 6 spots on my glass and my tank is 18 months old...LOL...not sure why it wont grow in my tank...dont care either..LOL rocks are thick with it and coral grows well though...so the less i have to clean the glass the better..

I moved 15 gallons from my old tank 1+year old  It might've helped a bit.

I didn't get any coraline in my old tank for a long time since it was poorly maintained but now it's all good and the water helped jumpstart this tank!

here is my tank...little messy right now since i have about 20 frags to get out of it...but..i keep my water pretty near perfect and still have no coraline...i notice it grows better in lower lit areas...what kind of lighting do you have over your tank? i have about 220w, 150 of that MH..

GuOD,

Great looking tank. I want to get more corals in my tank, but first I have to get rid of my BTA. I like him but he's getting too big & now getting too close to the shroome.

Iam just corious, why do you have a powerhead back by the filter inlet. Thats pushing the water away from the filter Isn't it.
