How long does it take for acans to give more polyps? I have been target feeding with Dt's live phytoplankton and PE Mysis about every 4 days.

I also tried cutting one up into 3 pieces and supergluing them to live rock. So far only one has survived since 2 months ago. Anyone have any words of wisdom?

The larger acan colonies are about 10-14" deep in under a 12K reeflux 250 DE. Just started feeding it mysis every 2 to 4 days. The remaining frag is in indirect light about 16" deep.

What kind of flow does it have? I find that mine & all my LPS for that matter seem to dothe best in somewhat nutrient rich water, low flow, indirect light and spot feed daily. HTH

My 54 corner Bow tank is aquascaped in a moon shape with rocks slightly away from glass, with a koralia 600 and 850 behind the rocks. I have my acans positioned inside the cup of the moon. In addition there is maybe 300-500 GPH coming from sump return, and 110 GPH coming from fluvel running carbon into display as well.

This totals 1610 GPH/ 54 = roughly 30 + times per hour

I have koralia's toned down were they are hitting rocks so I would gander my flow rate is more like 22-25 times per hour.
