Where can I find a back wall overflow kit that is meant for the plumbing to go threw the bottom of the tank? I am looking at drilling the bottom of a 75 gallon tank and need to get a overflow and all the pluming for it. I have seen overflows for back drilling but where can I find one for bottom drilling.
Also how can I tell if the tank is able to be drilled. How can I tell if the glass is tempered?
Thanks

Who made the tank? If it is a standad All Glass , Perfecto, or Oceanic it is a tempered bottom. I have see people use 6" PVC cut in half and use it as an overflow.

You might try to talk to you LFS and see if they can order one from a manufacturer. If you are looking for a clean look.

problem is I dont know who made the tank. I am looking at a used one that might be dirt cheap. But I dont really want a back drilled tank. I want to drill at the bottom. Maybe the best way to do it is just pay the long dollar and purchase a new setup...
