as for experience I bought 8. two males 6 females. the first night I lost a female. After about 5 days or so one male was prevailing and killed the other. I than lost another female mysteriously, so I am down to five, and have had this many for 5months plus now. I never had a problem getting them to eat. They ate mysis right off the bat, and now they eat everything i throw in there.
