Just received a pair of the Lumenarc III DE Pendants. Can anyone shed some light on how to install the glass shield?

Do I need to remove the black casing on one side or is there any easier way that I am totally missing :) ?

Thanks for your help.

Ron

I removed a few of the screws from the black casing so that I could install the glass piece... I couldn't figure out any easier way... LMK if you do... :D

No it does not. The reflector is housed with a black casing which is layed over the reflector.

from what i understand it is called the AC option... the reflector should have 2 holes in it... this particular reflector is made for use with a glass shields.

You have to unscrew and remove one of the black panels. Kind of a pain, but you shouldn't have to clean the inside very often.

Ok...yes I know what you mean now. The casing does have two holes in the top...for hanging the light via eyehooks. But not sure how this impacts the glass install.

Thanks,
Ron
