Well I finally have water in the tank the pumps and heads are running and just started a g3 skimmer I have live rock coming on sunday my base rock is in the tank and i was wondering if Ishould throw a piece of shrimp in the tank to start the cylce or wait till the live rock comes it's been in a freinds tank for months now.

Wait for the live rock. No reason to put a shrimp in there.

t5 nitro will there be alot of cylce with the tank or will i have to wait to put a fish or coral in there

depending on the cured state of the live rock there will be cycling

with the base rock it takes alot longer to cycle bacteria up to three months. This means any substanial increase in bioload like adding a fish depends on the amt of live rock you have in the tank so in the three month period be very cautious what size fish you add and how quickly you add them.
