Hi Klaus,
I currently have four of your products powering my system 2x10m3 1x12m3 and the BK-250 external. I would like to compliment you on your choice of distributers in the US they have all been very attentive to any issues I may have had over the last year or so.
My question for you is I have the original version of your BK-250 ext with the titanium impellor. Would changing the impellor to one of your new designs improve its performance? I've noticed my air intake is a bit lower than it's spec's. And yes everything is clean and serviced regularly.
I would appreciate your opinion and advice.
The products you produce are incredible, but you just keep improving them and it make s me jealous :( .
Thanks
Kris

Thanks Chris for the excellant service. It should be noted here that I've had a problem or two over the last year and Gary and his successor Chris and the folks at Proline have been great in service and response time to my questions/issues.
I was just reaching out to the inventor himself to get his opinion.
Thanks for all your help Chris!

hi Kris,
thanks for your statement of RE-Products...
yes, it is possible for make the old Titanium-wheels, are you want..... So at the moment, we using for the 110/60 Hz voltage an new Needlewheel design from a special-mix plastic include carbon-stuff. So it is possible for pushed the Performance of your skimmer 30 %. I think, it is better for you, this new Needlewheel, as the titanium-wheels.
We can send the wheels by next shipment......
best regards... Klaus

Thanks for your help Klaus I'm looking forward to the new wheel.
I appreciate your commitment in helping us "original" BK owners keep up to date :)..
Any idea of the air draw with the new wheel?
Take Care
Kris

You may want to pop yours out and look at it to be sure it isnt the latest version. Ask the former owner when he purchased it as well.
My titanium wheel was on the very first models of BK I believe. It was actually shipped here from Germany, when there was no distributer is the US.
I would still like to hear about the new one I was supposed to get tho :/.

Kris I checked, its the POM wheel. I would love to see this pic of the new needlewheel Klaus has created. I mean if it really gives 30% more air that would really kick it up a notch. So my 1500 LH of air would be around 1950 LH an air. I wonder how much the new needle wheel would cost?

POM wheel? help me out with that acronym mine is titanium :).
This thread is about the plastic needlewheel that replaced the titanium version.
If you are talking about the newer metal based mesh needle wheel, I believe those are only run on the new brushless pumps. None of those have made it stateside as of yet.

The POM wheel is plastic and is lighter. I read somewhere on zeovit that it spins faster and sucks in more air than the 1500 LH of air listed. I need to get myself an air meter and check it out. I wish I can run the skimmer tonight but the output hose I planned on using is too small. So I have to wait until morning.
Kris Ill try and find post on the POM wheels in zeo and PM it to you.
