I'm going to set my 75g aquarium back up and I have an ASM G1-X that has a broken sedra 3500. I was wondering what my best options would be to replace the pump. Also, would it be better to just get the Octopus NW-200 (other recommendations are welcome)?

If your looking for below 200 bux that will work get a octopus ps150, its the new octo out and will work well for a 75g tank. Just make sure its the ps150 and not the old nw150

It seems like the ps150 is, as far as ratings go, the same as the nw200. I guess the new design improves the efficiency quite a bit. What pumps could be used to replace the sedra 3500? Do you think I should just ditch the ASM G1-X? I really hate to do this.

I am in the same boat, I just returned my INT PS 150 because the venturi broke and coralvue was going to charge me for the replacement part. Is there a skimmer out there that will work good right out of the box?
