Hello all just wondering if it would be ill advised to place a tunze nanostream 6055 with single controller on a timer once nightly?

Thanks

You might want to ask in the Tunze forum to get an "official" answer from the distributor. However, I don't see why it would be a problem (assuming you mean a single off-on cycle).

Yeah just one cycle. I didn't see why not but every time I (don't see why not) I end up spending more cash.

Once on/off a day should be fine.

If you tried to use a timer to act as a wavemaker though, that'd probably burn the motor out early, as they're designed to be cycled from 30% power to full power, and not from 0% to full.
