View Full Version : What's the difference between the 6025 and 6045?

Is it just the shroud that allows the 6045 to push more water? I've heard that both use the same "engine" otherwise.

Yes and no, the copper coil is the same but the shape of both halves differ and the covers are not interchangeable. The pumps have different methods of correcting the rotation of the drive unit based on the flow volume.

If you mod your 6025 you will get more flow than with the 6045.

how do you mod it? does it void the warranty?
