lighting question

i have found a 6 month old coralife aqualight pro for less than half the price of a new one. I think they are good lights. Correct me at any time if I'm wrong. My question is the light is 48" by 15" my tank is a 72 gallon bow front which the 48" length is fine but the tank narrows down to 13 1/2". Can I still use this light? Should I look for a light that is not as wide?

That will work.

You can also look for a pendant style light that you hang above your tank... so you don't have to worry about getting the right length light strip.
