Good morning,

I am looking for Centropyge colini, two of them along with A. armitagei. I understand these are expensive and delicate fish. I am hoping you might be able to obtain these fish, I have been trying for a while and ahven't found anyone that can supply them.

Any information would be very helpful.

Dave,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing these specimens. We may have the Apolemichthys armitagei or Armitage angelfish into our holding facility within the next couple of weeks. The Centropyge colini or Cocos-Keeling angelfish is a more rare specimen, which we typically receive 6 – 8 times a year. We apologize that we do not have an estimated time frame as to when we may have them available due to the rarity of these fish.

We recommend signing up for the Diver’s Den Email Alert (http://www.liveaquaria.com/DiversDen/DDemailSignUp_form.cfm). As soon as we update our site you will receive an email informing you of the availability of all the new specimens we have added.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am already signed up for the e-mail alerts. With my work schedule it is often tough for me to check the sign routinely so I seem to miss stuff I am looking for.

Is there any other way to have this (These) fish speical ordered?

Rare Angels,

Thank you for your interest in Diver's Den (http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/index.cfm). We apologize sincerely that we do not special order items. The primary reason is that we feel our overall customer service would be affected. If we ‘saved’ these rare items for a few customers, our whole customer base would lose out on the opportunity of purchasing those items. Our customers enjoy the thrill on logging on and seeing the new items loaded every night. Many wait for weeks before seeing the exact item they have been searching for. The excitement of that customer who purchases his ‘dream’ tank inhabitant is apparent and we want to continue providing rare and unique items to all our customers fairly.

DO you have the armitage angelfish at your facility? Will it be up for sale soon?

Thanks

Rare Angels,

Thank you for your post and interest in the Armitage Angelfish. At this time we are unsure of this specimen’s availability and cost. We are not aware of any upcoming sales or specials. Our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility is currently closed and will not reopen until tomorrow morning. Once they have reopened we will contact them and post back with this information.

We thank you for your patience.

Rare Angels,

Thank you for your patience while our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility researched this question. We are always trying to obtain rare Angelfish such as the Armitage Angel. Due to the rarity and sensitivity of this species, we are having some difficulty locating a healthy specimen. Once we do obtain this fish, the price will be dependant on size, coloration, etc. This species does tend to be one of the higher costing fish among rare Angelfish.
