which 250wSE bulb looks better without actinics supplement hamilton 14k or xm 20k?

never seen the hammy but the XM is nice and XM has alot better PAR

They are both nice bulbs with the XM being a bit bluer. The Hamilton actually has about 50% more par though. Check out Sanjay Joshi's lighting web site and you can compare your ballast with these specific bulbs to get the par values.
