i just got a good deal on rocks. 25$ for 50lb. but it was in freshwater for months .how can i bring them back to alive?

just put them in your tank and the existing life will see it. it'll be alive in no time!

They were in freshwater as in a stcked freshwater tank? If thats the case they may have been exposed to medications. You just may want to cure them in a barrel, changing out water every few days. I read a post a while ago about a guy that found liverock in the woods that someone dumped there. He took it home, cured it, and used it.

The goal is to dilute anything bad into the water. I would say that in order for it to be successful, it all should be under.

Make sure you test for copper before you put it in your tank since it came from a FW system.
