When are they going to hit stateside. I was going to get their existing K4's but decided to wait for these new models because the original K4's will not work on the controller. Also, if anyone has the info what is the pricing?

I heard they should be available in about 6-8 weeks at about 20% higher cost than the current Koralias. Apparently, there will be a 1,2,3, and 4 just like in the current series. The controller, however, will cost around $300 and will be able to control two at a time.

Thats about 400 more than I'm willing to spend. I'll get the old K4 and run 24/7. Thanks aninjaatemyshoe.

I'm wondering whether they'll be controllable with the Tunze controllers or the Aquasurf (with a little DIY). The pumps themselves seem pretty inexpensive. But yeah, I don't know if I'd fork out $300 for a controller.

I can get k4's now for around 50 each. Its a no brainer. But you're right about controller pricing being too high. I'm a plug and play guy so iI avoid DIY projects. I spend enough time on the reef already.
