Crap in my passae please help

Hi,

Got a hermit stuck in my pvc 90 decree overflow pipe, please help.

Tried to pull ut but shell wont fit, so pushed it up to overflow in hopes it will pop out, it did'nt.

So now what!!, yes i was stupid to not fully cover over flow, but I have a unknown black dwarf angel that picks up craps and plants them always up high in my tank and now it's decided to move my hermits to my overflow. Pizzer it looked cool the 1st time as i fishrd out victums but now just home and have to turn off sump as crap has blocked my tubes.

Any help apart from silly stuff would be great, ie what hermits like to get it out of tube

Coat hanger? Could make a tight "hook" to slide past the shell and pull it back up.

Piece of rebar (iron rod) to crush/break the shell?

If the shell is jammed in there, and/or the interior of the pvc is smooth, it's quite possible the hermit can't get out.
