I have notice my rocks and my snails are getting brownon the surface meaning the rock surface and the snail shells are like a brown and I notice I keep getting whatI think is algae spots it looks cloudy not a film just looks cloudy in certain spots with a green tint so small to get a pic of but I keep cleaning it off in different spots?
any ideas or is all that brown or is it normal

I am trying to load some pics Now But I have 12 red legged hermits
7 turbo snails
1 algae blenny 1 ,cleaner shrimp
Alot of my rock shave coraline but I am noticing that Brown coming more and more even on my snails
I did my water change lastt night all is o except ph is 20 not sure why

algae will grow on the snail shells.. diatoms maybe?

I notice under my rocks has brown or different colred sand which is now showing up on the glass .
Is this something to be concerned about

Looks like it but as I hear diatoms and it is normal

you need to take a turkey baster and lightly baste the live rock and sand bed and remove phosphates and nitrates ect that are accumulating on them--this is what the nuisance algae is feeding on.
direct one of those power heads down against the rock and substrate
also with the skimmer adjust the overflow so that the water has to drop a touch into it--this will get the surface dissolved organics moving into the overflow rather then just stagnating around the overflow
