no one has a word of advice
Since I have no mechanical filtration and don't use any chemicals other than dripping kalk my advice would be questionable at best.
I do have two skimmers on a shelf out in the garage and I bought some phosphate remover once, think it was in 1999.
If it's a choice between the two a skimmer is your best option. Removing waste rather than treating it with an endless expense of chemicals is the better solution.
I think weekly water changes are cheaper and more efficient than either choice.
