another Profilux question

I've got yet another lighting question. I just starting to setup a 180G aquarium and have no lights yet. I'm trying to avoid a canopy system so my question is do you know of any T-5 hood systems that I would easily be able to change out their ballast for your dimmable one?

I think your best bet is to use the I bars and build a hanging fixture or a DIY unit using dimmable ballasts.

Geissman is a good candidate for ballast replacement as are most fixtures already using 54 watt ballasts.

When are you expecting more HO modules?

The high amps are coming in this week with the rest of my stock. Problem is I am getting so few, only 5 and a list of takers just waiting for them to arrive.

I asked for an "in between" order of 20 high amps, 20 simul L, and 20 simu spots. Here's to hoping for a speedy trip from Germany to here.

Just to give a bit more info on stock availability.

The HIGH AMP rush is being addressed, we have placed an order for 30, this will be processed on tuesday, and I am hoping for shipment to take place the same week, there is a 7 day freight forwarding time and a 3 day Todd delivery time also.

With this interim order there will be 30 simus and 30 simu-L's plus a load of other goodies.
