How to swap tank?

I want to move a nano to a brand new tank.

Can I just remix some brand new salt water into the new tank and then move all my liverocks and fish into the new tank?

Since those are established it won't go into a cycle right?

You need to use new sand in the new tank. Seed it by using a few cups of sand from the old tank. Use as much water from the old tank as possible before you stir up your old sand bed by moving rocks around.

Your live rock and old water should keep you from seeing a cycle. You might have a small spike but I've done it three times with no spike. You will have what I call "new tank syndrome" you'll get diatom and other algae blooms etc.. until things stabilize.

Oh have plenty of new salt water ready even if the tanks are the same size you'll lose a lot. Make sure your new water matches salinity and pH at a minimum.
