I tried this thread in other forums, but not good feed back. Iam not sure what kind of coral it is.

I got my coral last week and everything seemed to be ok, that is until 2 nights ago. i noticed that the brown shrooms were tuching it. I now have turned the rock so the shrooms are about 2 inches away. However the coral looks dead.....I dont know ??

Can someone help...give me some advice on what I should do. Here are some then & now pictures.

Thanks.

it looks like a colt coral that has been injected with dye.

Quite an unusually bright pink for a colt. Likely needs much more flow than those shrooms next door would like.

colt? what about a cauliflour? cauliflours are supposed to be hung upside down.
