Help with a nano project

The reason for this is being kept under wraps for the time being but I would like input for the following task:

List a rundown of common ways to setup and maintain a nano...basic, common equipment used, etc.


Basically explain to someone who has never seen a nano how to build and maintain one.



If you would like to participate that would be great. It is for a VERY cool project that will benifit the nano community.
