Which water are we talking about? Tank water, municipal water, well water, bodily water? What?

Need more info. Is this a new system or established? Do you have a DSB? Does it smell like rotten eggs? What other relevant information do you have to give us?

It can't be good. Did something die? Are you overfeeding? How long has the tank been up? When did it start stinking? What is your filtration system?

You might want to do a water change. Maybe try using carbon. HTH

It could be related to the same issue you were having in your previous post. Other than using a Skilter 250 as your filtration. What are your water paremeters and do you use RO/DI for water changes? Also, what size tank is it?

it does that when you don't take care of it

I've seen some really nice reef tanks but the stench in the room was something awful. Tank looked good but the owner was very messy when it came down to the foods that were being put into the tank. Leftover flakes, frozen, etc, all around the tank. A little moisture and there you go. PU.

FWIW.
