I have a reflector and ends but need a ballast for 175watt HQI bulb. Does anyone know where to get a cheap ballast that will work?

As far as I know 175w bubs are only avilable in single ended mogel base not Double ended or HQI

If you are referring to a Double-Ended (DE) 175-watt metal halide lamp they are all built to ANSI M137/M152 electrical specs. They will work properly on a magnetic pulse start (ANSI M137/M152) or any 175-watt electronic ballast.

DE 175-watt lamps are not very common. A few overseas companies make them but they are not really standardized and popular.
