Okay, I posted on Friday that my protein skimmer mysteriously started producing a VAST amount of microbubbles. I made sure air lines are free and clear....Also soaked all parts in water/vinegar since Saturday morning and just not put skimmer back in...GUESS WHAT??? STILL TONS OF MICROBUBBLES!!!! I really need some help here and don't have the money to buy a new skimmer but really need a solution because now my fish/corals are in a storm of bubbles and CANNOT be liking it....Thanks

You probably already did this, but did you scrub out all the pipework? I had an issue where a snail got into my inlet pipe and blocked up the water flow. A good de-snailing took care of that problem.

I did all pipes except one which is where the valve is and have no where that I can really access it with a brush? I think when I pulled it out and everything to soak it I would have smelt the snail though because you know how BAD they smell....I'm gonna try contacting coralife because I cannot really afford to spend the money on another skimmer right now because in the process of buying/redoing a house I'm getting!

I thought protein skimmers are supposed to make bubbles.

Not after they have hit the bubble diffuser! If you had the microbubbles that were in the protein skimmers chamber then you would not like the display tank. As mine is showing now!

I've also contacted the Coralife people and am waiting on response...If they don't handle this well I'll be ****ed considering I just bought it 8 months ago...Product life should be MUCH longer than that!
