Choice between ASM G3 or Aqua C EV 180

The price difference is $100. So would you buy the ASM G3 and buy more rock with the $100 or payup for the Aqua C EV180?

Asm g-3 with. I have owned both and hated the aqua c I got better skimmate with a seaclone

Better skimmate with a seaclone? I doubt that.

If you're going to pick between the two, the asm g3. I believe it comes with the sedra 5000 right? It actually fills the chamber up with bubbles pretty well, recirc mod it and you'll be even happier. A buddy of mine did with the g3 and the reaction chamber looked like milk.

I had a G-3 for 2 years, and after a 3 year hiatus from reefing I'm buying another one. G-3 all the way!

I agree with NCguy, I've got the the EV180 and it works great, I have no idea why most people suggest anything other than AquaC's

I had an aqua c ev 120 and never could get t to skim right, their cust. service even gave up. I bought an asm g3 and it worked phenomenally on the same tank w/ no changes.
