How long would it take for you to get one of these in, QT it for as long as you would normally, and ship it to me?

I'm adding a 450g 120x24x36 tank to my system and it will be ready in about a month.

Tbittner,

Thank you for your Post. We sincerely apologize at this time we are not sure when the Achilles Tang will be available. We will be contacting our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility in the morning to see if they have any ideas of when one of this fish will be in stock. In the mean time we would recommend signing up for the Divers Den email alerts (http://www.liveaquaria.com/DiversDen/DDemailSignUp_form.cfm). Once you have done this we will notify you when a certain specimen becomes available on our Divers Den website.

When we receive our fish we quarantine them for a couple of weeks to make sure that they are going to be healthy enough for shipment. The time frame is really unknown. Once they are available for purchase we display them on our Divers Den website.

The time frame of shipping any live specimens from our Divers Den/Live Aquaria websites is determined by the time of day that the order is placed. If you were to place your order before 9:30 AM CST it would be shipped that day for delivery on the next business day. Otherwise any orders that are placed after our cutoff time will be held until the next business day. Orders that are placed on Fridays would be held for shipment on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. However, for certain locations we do have an additional option of Saturday delivery available for an additional charge. Any orders that are placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship out Monday morning. All of our live good orders are delivered within 24 hours of the ship date.

Once we have contacted our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility we will post back to you with any information on the availability of the Achilles Tang.

If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact us back.

Thank you for the response!

I'm signed up at Divers Den and I've been waiting for months for an Achilles to become available. I was just expressing my interest in getting one. And Divers Den is the only place I would consider buying one of these delicate fish from. The same is true for the Bluespot Jawfish, also high on my list, and I'll be buying two of those. Those seem to be a little bit more readily available though.

Again, thank you so much for your quick reply.

I was finally the first in line for an Achilles. It came today! I must say, the packaging was unbelievable! Thank you!!!

I acclimated it, and it's in the 450g tank now. It's eating and looking FABULOUS!!!

Awesome fish. Thank you so much!
