Well my question is just what my title says here is the list of the fish and invertabrates

current livestock
- 1 mystery wrasse
- 1 cherry dottyback
- 1 some type of anemone (i think a purple ritteri 3inch) in diameter
- 1 anemone crab
- 2 trochus snails

Want to add:
- 1 flame Angelfish
- 1 coral beauty angelfish
- 4 trochus snails
- 2 Mexican Turbos snails
- 1 anemone crab
- 3 pom-pom crabs
- 1 reef lobster
- 1 anemone maybe small RBTA
- 2 blood shrimps
- 2 cleaner shrimps
- 1 starfish (lava or marble starfish)

**Thats about it but i'd like to mention that my BC is bare-bottom and I know im going to bashed on the stock that i want so im going to say im only getting most of these not all unless otherwise**

If you had a sandbed to help with the bioload maybe, but BB I think you would be pushing it.

Throw in a tang, you need a tang!

LOL. that is WAY to much for a BC29, in other words.

even 1 anemone is pushing it, I havent planned to get an anemone in my 20g until I could be sure I was going to upgrade. both anemones metioned can get 12-16" in diameter and will kill any corals they touch. the mystery wrasse and dottyback are both agressive, and thedwarf angels will have very little swimming room.

the reef lobster will get far too big for the tank, and if you have evr seen a full grown turbo snail, then you wouldnt even be thinking about getting one. I have seen some the size of my fist, and the tank will be covered in turbo poop soon enough.

both those starfish have VERY low survival rates in captivity and should be left to people with 100 or more punds of rock and tons of different algaes and foods for them to graze on, or they will most likely die.

the shrimps might be okay, but their could be trouble with aggression between the two species, and I recall hearing that larger dottybacks will often attack and eat smaller ortamental shrimps added after them, and sometimes even those added before them.

personally, I would also be woried about possible aggression between the two species of crabs, and the dottyback bothering the pom pom crabs, which are usually reclusive and peaceful.

I would say you should keep it to more like
4 more troucious snails
2 cleaner shrimp
MAYBE 1 blood shrimp
1 anemone crab
1-2 pom pom crabs

if you wanted to add another fish I would do something that can hold up to beating from both current fish, and I would rearange the the rocks to inestablish the terriories of them.

I agree with just about everything moonstream says.

I had a blue line pseudochromis (or dottyback). It went through 7 peppermint shrimps like a knife through butter. Tried a variety of things, added one at night, added 2 at a time, added 3 at a time, nothing worked. They (All dottybacks) are infamous shrimp killers.
Never did mess with my pom pom crab, though that thing stays in the rockwork most of the time.

You can't really support any starfish, small tank and no sandbed, all of them that I can think of would starve.

That said how's the Mystery Wrasse? I am jealous :)

LOL Jayne i will definitately upgrade by then that was a obvious given. Also all of the livestock will be brought in small and probably take years to get that big and by that time ill probably have upgraded several times.

Mystery Wrasse, ask Todd Rose about those things and how much they love shrimp cocktail!! LOL They are nice but hard on the shrimp added after them.

LOL. I still would hold off on the angels, in that small a tank they are bound to get some trouble.

forgot to add, serpent stars are awsome and I recommend them to everyone that will listen LOL. mine has grown a bit since I got him around 6 months ago and so far survived
oerstocking way too quick
2 tank teardowns
huge swings in salinity
no feeding for up to 2 months
2 month or more laspes between water changes

he is very cool and is one of my fave critters in my tank.
